Issue: If a default printer is changed after the Installation of FileMaker Pro, this change may not be reflected in FileMaker’s settings.

Solution: Delete the Default printer key in the registry.

Method:

1 – Close FileMaker,
2 – Access Registry Editor,
3 – Go to the following Registry Key –
– HKCU > Software > FileMaker > FileMaker Pro > [VERSION NUMBER] > Preferences
4 – Delete the “Default printer” key.
5 – Re-open FileMaker – a new “Default printer” key will be created.
