Exchange 2003 – Limit outbound connections

Issue: Limit maximum concurrent Exchange connections


Method:

  1. Open Exchange System manage,
  2. Expand Administraive Groups > Servers > [SERVER NAME] > Protocols > SMTP >
  3. Right click on Default SMTP Virtual Server,
  4. Under General tab
    1. Ensure “Limit number of connections to:” is ticked,
    2. Change value to number you wish
